Patrizio graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors in Human Kinetics and a Masters in Physical Therapy. He has completed his Orthopedic Level 1 course and is working towards additional education in manual therapy, orthopedics, post-concussion rehabilitation and neurological disorders.
Patrizio encourages diversity within his practice, from the management of osteoarthritis to the rehabilitation of athletes. As such, he has enjoyed volunteering for a variety of sports teams including the residency teams of the Vancouver Whitecaps, Division 2 Men’s soccer, and U19 Men’s Lacrosse. Being functional within sport is important to Patrizio and he believes that everyone should be able to enjoy the outdoors no matter what the activity.
To achieve his clientele’s participation and movement goals, Patrizio shows full dedication to everyone. He is committed to staying up to date with the most current evidence and is keen on sharing this information during his one-on-one sessions. At the moment, his primary treatment approaches include exercise therapy and manual therapy and he is a strong believer that anyone can benefit when these two therapies are combined.
Outside of the clinic, Patrizio stays active by playing basketball and soccer and he enjoys the outdoors by hiking, biking, snowboarding, and going to the beach. At home, he challenges himself on the piano and thinks about new ideas for his next vacation. Currently, Patrizio is learning Italian so that he can experience his cultural background to the fullest and provide physiotherapy services in a second language.
