Karsen completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley and worked as a kinesiologist before attending Langara College for Registered Massage Therapy. This has allowed Karsen the privilege to experience working with a wide range of people, reinforcing the belief that there is not a one size fits all approach to assisting clients in achieving their health and fitness goals.
Her treatment philosophy is to help create a comfortable and confident understanding for clients surrounding their process when working towards their goals, no matter how big or small they may feel. She acknowledges that we all have our own stories and experiences. She aims to understand where someone is coming from so she can help support them with where they are going.
Combining a love of sport/activity, physiology, fun and working with people has made entering the field of massage therapy an easy choice for Karsen. She aims to apply evidence-based treatment approaches and compassionate care in ways that will ensure the client feels heard and supported.
